  • Notes: Based on the Johnstone tartan, this is a the wedding tartan for Arlene Alegre and Brett Wood. The burgundy ground represents the bridesmaids' dresses. In Spanish 'Alegre' means bright and happy and here the colour yellow is used to reflect that and represent Arlene. The four lines of yellow (Brett & Arlene were engaged on 4th May) are set in brown to symbolise the coming together of the couple - Brett's surname being whimsically portrayed by the brown. With the addition of orange - Brett's favourite colour and sky blue, the design is complete.
