An e-mail dated 7th Sept 2007 from a Diane Wynings (presumably from the USA). "Our family has a child’s coat from about 1835 or so. It is supposed to have (been) the (Warden) family tartan. I’m sending a scanned account of this coat . . . the Wardens left Greenock in 1831. In the absence of any alternative identification, this has been named ‘Warden.’
