Ann Stewart of Ann Stewart Kiltmakers, Leeds New York helped a New York State Trooper finalise this design in about 1997 and ordered 32 yards of kilt material. He never returned so Ann then had to promote the idea of a tartan to the NY State Troopers who fortunately liked the tartan and Ann has been making kilts in it ever since. Woven by Lochcarron.
