  • Notes: Bennachie is a prominent range of hills in Aberdeenshire and the Bailies are individuals who are 'stewards' of the hills. This tartan is a vehicle for attracting funds for conservation and was designed by Blair Urquhart of The House of Tartan and it incorporates the colours of the hill in winter. Sample in STA Collection. Was woven by D C Dalgliesh of Selkirk and then by Strathmore Woollen Co. Ltd, Forfar.
