Notes:

An eight-colour tartan for Lanark Highlands – a large township of 1033 square kilometres with a delightful rural landscape of rolling hills, heavily forested areas, rocky terrain and countless clean rivers, streams and lakes. It lies some 75 km southwest of downtown Ottawa and 100 km north west of Kingston.
Colour explanation: Brown for the agricultural fields, green for the maple forests which turn to red and yellow in the autumn and winter. Light blue for the frozen lakes and grey for the Canadian Shield.
