This tartan (STA 4425) comes from a plain weave sample from the Bute Collection which is now in Edinburgh’s Queen Steet Museum and was classified as an un-named Hebridean pattern.
Adopted in August 2000 by the Convention of the Baronage of Scotland under Hon Secretary Dorothy Newlands of Lauristan.
