Notes:
This in fact is the MacKinlay tartan 'hijacked' and given another name. Renaming of an existing clan tartan is unacceptable and would not now be recorded or 'allowed'. The new name was orignally 'Argyll Group' and was changed to Safeway in December 1997 - presumably on a takeover of some description.
