Grant of Ballindalloch (Personal)
  • Notes: A variation of traditional Grant designed 1994 by Russells of Ballindalloch Estates who traditionally wore MacPherson tartan but had this design created during the refurbishment of Ballindalloch Castle to demonstrate their Grant connection. Registered with STS and woven by Johnston's of Elgin. It's based on the Grant tartan recorded by Logan in 1831. The first samples produced by Johnstons of Elgin were woven in 'Antique' colours.
