One of 7 tartans created by Christopher Carlisle Justus from Hendersonville, NC in 1990. Sample of this one in STA’s Johnston Collection. Tartans Society entry slightly out of date :"Submitted as the Justus family sett but awaits the approval of the proposed Justus Family Society of North America." No evidence to hand of actual commercial weaving. This range of Justus ‘tartans’ are included for historical reasons only: were the Scottish Tartans Authority asked to Register a range such as this, it would decline or at least limit the number to three.
