These delightful 'period' illustrations (and captions) are from Paisleys Highland dress catalogue of the early 1940s. Paisleys occupied Broomielaw Corner in Glasgow. Catalogue kindly donated by Douglas Anderson of Dumfries.
We welcome - for possible inclusion - any period advertisments or illustrations of tartan and Highland dress from countries other than Scotland.
